Per Kentucky Corrections – Policies and Procedures for Inmate Personal Property – Policy 17.1 dated August 6, 2012, inmates may only possess the quantities of items specified. It is the inmate's responsibility to never possess more than those quantities allowed. Any items exceeding the inmate's limit will be disposed of at inmate's expense, in accordance with KY DOC rules and regulations.  Family members and Friends should ensure that the inmate may receive the property item prior to its purchase.
